Muralidharan Ramalingam is the top and best Ayurveda Specialist at Patanjali, Houston with over 17 years of experience in the field of Ayurveda and clinical research. His areas of specialization include but are not limited to detoxification, therapy, massage, stress, pain and weight management through authentic ayurvedic supplements & therapies.
Murali completed his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery in 2004 from India’s first ayurvedic institution, The Venkataramana Ayurveda Medical College and Hospitals, Chennai. He started his career as a junior physician at the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Cbe) Ltd in Coimbatore, a pioneer of Ayurveda in India. He served in various departments of Ayurveda including teaching, manufacturing, exports and business development and held his core clinical practice simultaneously. In collaboration with renowned institutions, he has conducted many training programs for Ayurveda students and therapists. Murali has attended and volunteered at various health summits and conferences in a quest for deeper knowledge. He is a specialist in panchakarma (bio cleansing) and has extensive experience treating patients with chronic and acute illness. His interest in pharmacology brought him to work in product development on new over the counter (OTC) ayurvedic products.
Working in Mauritius, Murali facilitated the import of ayurvedic products to the country with government approval. Set-up a wellness center at Quatre Bornes and worked as the chief physician there for a couple of years.
He explored further into the field of clinical research and attained certification from the Institute of Clinical Research India (ICRI). He started working for Pharmacovigilance in a clinical research organization handling projects on various oncological studies in Phase III & IV. With this skill he acquired Drug Safety Associate Accreditation from International Academy of Clinical Research, United Kingdom.
Before joining the team of Patanjali, Murali was the Lead Ayurveda Specialist at a 5 star Health Resort, New York. At this position, he has recommended Ayurvedic diet plans and ailment specific treatments based on doshas, considering the constitution (prakriti) and derangement (vikriti) of the individual guests. He trained the therapists in regular intervals on authentic Ayurvedic treatments and gave Ayurvedic lectures on various topics enlightening guests of the Resort.
